I'm retired from a 30 year career in law enforcement and I've had a real estate license since 2004.  I am licensed in both Illinois and Florida and I'm a proud member of Heroes Home Advantage which is a real estate rebate program which offers Heroes the largest rebate in the industry.  Here's how is works.  If you are a Veteran or work full-time in a qualifying position, I will give you 25% of my commission which can be applied to your closing costs!  There are no strings attached and this is my way of saying Thank You becauase I know what it's like living a life on the front lines.  Also, I'm partnering with mortgage lenders, title companies, home inspectiors, attorneys, etc. who are willing to offer a discount to our Heroes and Veterans.  Don't forget that the State of Florida is offering down payment assistance and other incentives for Heroes and Veterans.  This program is called Hometown Heroes and is administered by the Florida Housing Finance Corporation.
